We're seeking an accomplished and visionary Marketing Director to spearhead our new consumer brand-led model. As a key player in our journey towards accelerated growth and a brand-focused approach, you will orchestrate the establishment of a UK&I Regional Marketing Hub (Centre of Excellence) to elevate marketing practices across the region.
Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer UK&I, with an additional line report to the Group Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for setting and maintaining marketing standards and performance across Sodexo's UK&I business. Your role is crucial in directly contributing to the ambitious goals of the Group and the UK&I region. Serving as the primary interface with Group Marketing, you will lead marketing transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader organisational objectives.
Collaborating closely with Segment Directors of Marketing and the Brand & Communications Director, you will establish organisational clarity for the end-to-end marketing function and its associated ways-of-working. This requires not only strategic vision but also the ability to lead and inspire a skilled team, driving a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
About the role - Marketing Transformation: Drive revenue growth, profitability, client retention, and SG&A optimisation through collaborative and strategic marketing initiatives. - Brand Management: Develop and optimise brands, bringing innovation to the brand portfolio with new licensing opportunities in the region. - Collaboration & Integration: Foster a culture of collaboration across the marketing function, ensuring consistent ways-of-working and integrated campaigns. - Performance Monitoring: Oversee marketing performance, including KPI monitoring, reporting, and delivery at both management and executive levels. - Talent Management: Build and lead the UK&I Marketing professional family, developing skills, experience, and capabilities within the Sodexo Marketing community. - Insights & Analysis: Be responsible for marketing analysis, consumer trends in Food, market research, and competitor analysis. - Campaign Leadership: Lead the planning, content creation, media choice, and execution of all regional marketing campaigns, ensuring an integrated approach.
About youTo excel in this role, you should possess relevant Marketing qualifications and demonstrate a proven track record of senior/executive leadership. Your experience should extend to B2C food services within a business-to-business context, showcasing your expertise in marketing function transformation and strategic brand growth. As a strategic thinker and influencer, you will play a crucial role in building and leading the UK&I Marketing professional family, instilling a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
