• Contribute to writing engaging and informative science articles, news pieces, and features
  
• Collaborate with editors to refine and edit written content for accuracy and clarity
  
• Source and verify information from credible scientific sources and experts
  
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for science-related content
  
• Stay updated with recent scientific discoveries, advancements, and breakthroughs
  
• Assist in fact-checking and reviewing content to ensure accuracy
  
• Help with content formatting, image sourcing, and multimedia integration
  
• Complete assigned writing tasks and meet deadlines set by the editorial team

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a relevant field (e.g., Journalism, Science Communication, etc.)
  
• Strong interest in science, journalism, and science communication
  
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  
• Ability to convey complex scientific concepts in an engaging and accessible manner
  
• Proficiency in research and sourcing information from reliable scientific sources
  
• Familiarity with various writing styles and ability to adapt tone for different audiences
  
• Knowledge of digital media and content management systems
  
• Enthusiasm for staying updated with scientific developments and trends
  
• Creativity and ability to generate innovative content ideas
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills
  
• Previous experience in science writing or journalism is a plus
