In this role, you will be working in Veson Nautical's Vessels Value division. VesselsValue provides online delivered data and analytical products to the Maritime sector.
 
Overview
 
To support our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a self-motivated and confident team member with excellent communication skills to join our expanding commercial team for the APAC region.
 
The Hybrid Sales Executive is responsible for Identifying new business and account management for existing Indonesian clients, generating sales of Data Intelligence products (VesselsValue, Q88, Oceanbolt) into the Indonesian Markets. Managing all aspects of the sales process from liaising with the marketing and PR team on fully trackable campaigns, finding new prospects and negotiating new deals and partnerships.
 
Our clients include the world’s leading investors, traders, lenders, shipowners, operators, regulatory bodies and advisors.
 
Summary of Key Responsibilities
 
Closing subscription agreements and developing the sales pipeline in accordance with targets set by Management, specifically:
  • Building prospect lists and executing on them
  • Attending industry events and generating leads through networking
  • Qualifying prospects in accordance with sales process, identifying key contacts, estimating closing timeframe and subscription amount
  • Develop sales strategies
  • Targeted phone campaigns
  • Providing feedback to management on the effectiveness of outbound phone and email campaigns
Qualifications
  • Ideally 5 years+ experience of sales focusing on Indonesia/South-East Asia dealing with Shipowner, maritime and affiliated industry spaces, preferably selling B2B SaaS market data, software or maritime related products
  • Fluent Indonesian and business level written and verbal English language skills, additional languages welcome!
  • Confident cold calling and lead generation experience - Outbound Salesperson
  • Willingness to travel as and when required
  • Experience of negotiating and working closely with C-level client stakeholders
  • Proven consistent sales success in your previous shipping/data intelligence/SaaS sales role(s)
  • Able to thoughtfully and diligently execute a sales process and territory plan
  • Demonstrated high rapport building and consultative sales skills
  • Proven ability to aggressively prospect new opportunities from lead generation to close
  • Highly effective communication skills with the ability to liaise, engage and build relationships with key stakeholders up to senior management/executive level
  • Strong proficiency and experience using sales related software and tools
  • Proven ability to proactively address client concerns and exceed client needs
  • A track record of understanding and managing SaaS revenue budgets and targets
  • Outstanding consulting, presentation, coaching and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated planning and organizing skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
