The Business Analyst in close collaboration with the assigned Manager is responsible for
ensuring the appropriate delivery of Services by the Business Analysts in their own area of
responsibility.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Structure and Track work in the own area of responsibility
• Understand business requirements and analyze relevant processes in own area of
responsibility
• Consolidate requirements in related areas of responsibility, support prioritization and
increase response time to business needs
• Identify opportunities to simplify applications (pertinent to each area of responsibility) with
a view to removing complexity from the organization and improving productivity
• Work closely with Process Engineers and Subject Matter Experts from businesses
across TSS to understand the application requirements, and translate them into
functional requirements and technical requirements close to ERP standards and best
practices
• Configure the system as agreed with Business Process Engineers and other
stakeholders
• Participate in feasibility studies (change requests) for system enhancements
• Compile specifications for development and technical implementation (e.g. reports,
forms, interfaces & integration etc.)
• Work closely with ERP Competency Center, Project Teams, IT Project Management
Office to coordinate/support technical implementation
• Monitor system activities (e.g. update requests, locks etc.), interfaces, and batch jobs,
and ensure appropriate usage of the system.
• Document functionality, create application manuals, and develop training materials.
• Organize and perform User Training in cooperation with key users and process
engineers as applicable
• Support the creation of Business Cases, participate in feasibility studies or PoC’s,
prepare work effort estimates for business requests, software change requests, system
enhancements, or projects
• Assist and consult business representatives during the implementation of change
management tasks
• Lead and mentor others in their field of knowledge
• Provide Application Support for users, key users, and subject matter experts by following
Service Desk Processes and usage of the ticketing system
• Testing of ERP configuration to ensure the system is meeting specified needs
• Support colleagues and users during the various test phases for systems & applications
• Sign-off release into the quality and into production together with business, Process
Engineers and Technical Services
• Assist the IT-Manager with organizing work, evaluating solution designs, controlling
change, and provide day to day coordination with other ERP analysts
Education and Experience
• Bsc-IT / BCA / BE /B.Tech/MCA/MSc-IT
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluent in the English language with one regional language.

• Understanding of industrial/commercial business processes, main area of
pertinence
• Application Business Process Analysis background with consolidated experience in
the business analyst role (3 to 5 years)
• Self-motivated with the ability to coordinate projects and report status and progress

• Able to travel and work effectively in a remote situation dealing with all levels of the
organization
• Proven process application knowledge background (pertinent to the area of
responsibility)
