About the Role
The incumbent will support the supply chain management process by rigorous management of the demand signals and order fulfilment for the business. You will lead the regional S&OP process by working with business stakeholders to ensure tight alignment in forecast and financial plans. You will also drive analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions and influence change.
Besides S&OP, you will also play a critical role within Regional Supply Chain organization to lead the IBP Supply Planning implementation for APAC region. You will be responsible for the coordination, design and deployment of IBP Supply Planning in APAC region, as well as supporting & participating in on-going global enhancement for IBP Demand Planning.
What You Will Do
Demand Planning (All divisions: Connected Home/Soundbar/Portable)
Responsible for the demand forecasting which drives the sales and production, to ensure maximum availability at optimised inventory and cost levels for current and future business requirements and solving complex problems derived from the demand planning/forecasting
Running the Demand sign off report (for all BU, Connected Home/SoundBar/Portable/IOT/Car/Lux), for monthly submission, by cut-off dates.
Coordinating with functions; Sales, Marketing/Product, Customer Service, Finance and Supply Chain, to obtain and analyze the current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts into the system
Liaising with BDs using the off-line demand templates on demand in monthly basis
Defining and recommend necessary action to Sales, with regards to stock adjustments (e.g. colour, replacement SKUs etc) to transfer proposals and manage system updates
Developing operation demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation over > 12 months rolling
Analyzing the total demand (as Total unconstraints) weekly and adjust the actual demand into IBP by every Friday, so that GSC can place our purchase requisition (PR)
Identifying the monthly VSF demand yet to convert to SO, so as to inform CRM/BDs to convert to SO
Reviewing stock allocation with APAC SC planners and CRM, on daily basis
Aligning with APAC SC planners on the set-up of NPI SKU in the SAP and IBP master data list
Ensuring 1st Purchase order and 1st RTS date for New Product are updated in the system
Ensuring GSC team has updated our 1st PO in their weekly Friday Demand Loading report (GSC’ cut-off raw data by every Tuesdy, for Friday’ report)
Collaborating with Global/APAC’ Supply on the process flow and management for POR information on NPI, phase in/phase out and current SKUs.
Working closely with APAC SC planners on the special requirements and the standards/timeline (e.g. Leadtime, MOQ, End-of-Life, Last time Buy) SKU and providing guidance to the team
Reviewing excess/aged/obsolete as an active management of the holding inventory
Reviewing monthly liability report, to drive further on the demands
Identifying SKU that are blocked for MRP (Procurement) and set “EL” for sales order, to manage the procurement plans, in daily basis; liasing with SC planners on their daily updates
Responsible in following up on all emails pertaining to demand adjustment/changes been completed in the system, whenever SC planners have communicated on the final supply or Last time buy.
Working on the fulfillment with SC planners on any supply chain or manufacturing initiatives that may impact the supply, alongside
Creating dashboards, reports, and analyses that explain trends to all stakeholders
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert on Forecasting matters across departments and explains difficult or sensitive information
What You Need to Be Successful
Min 3 years or more experience in Demand Planning related with hands on experience in implementing & improving S&OP Process, Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Forecasting Model Analysis.
Possess good working knowledge with SAP/IBP environment preferably with high proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
Analytical in nature, very comfortable with numbers, data analytics/statistics.
Strong ability to understand business & production operations providing Planning process related solutions to support/enable business growth.
High level of collaboration skills to be able to work with multiple stakeholders across various levels with the ability to drive planning processes excellence.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Diploma / Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Operations, Supply chain or Business management -analytical mindset
