Job Description

We are actively looking for a Demand Planner (M/F) in Rabat/Tetouan to take on the following responsibilities :

Product Guidelines and Product Evolution:

  • Develop product guidelines to drive volume submissions, highlighting phase-in and phase-out plans, and interact with:
    • Product Planning/Engineering: Proactively participate in integrated meetings, support the supply chain perspective regarding phase-in/out, pre-series, and launch management.
    • Product Codification: Define product codification requirements and timing, and ensure related readiness.
  • Update new product launch plan information for sales countries (SOP / ETA Compound).
  • Share and validate guidelines with Regional Brands (commercial perspective).
  • Distribute product guidelines to worldwide countries and regional supply chains.
  • Manage version locking in RR.

Monthly Demand Analysis:

  • Analyze the monthly demand submitted by sales countries by region, country, channels, and budget family, identifying any gaps.
  • Verify volume consistency with launch plans, phase-out plans, mix take rates, landing limits, special commercial needs, CO2, and NRM priorities.
  • Examine option/color mix and order submission trends to identify constrained features and order delays, initiating discussions with brands to define commercial countermeasures or conduct investigations with suppliers (as needed for supply).

Production Demand:

  • Support the definition of production volume requests per carline, engine, make constraints, and month, based on demand analysis, sales forecasts, stock targets, CO2, launch plans, and specific needs.
  • Include in the production demand the volumes for Phase In and Phase Out (ramp-up), pre-launches, and press cars.
  • Assist in validating EE production demand with brand leaders at the carline/energy level.

Allocation:

  • Develop volume allocation proposals per month/country based on stock norms, order portfolio, ATP, CO2 targets, launches, commercial needs, and/or other supply chain priorities.
  • Validate the country allocation proposals with EE brands and regional supply chains, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Implement the allocation data in the planning tool (RR).

Forecast Generation/Maintenance:

  • Define version volumes and option/color mix in RR, considering grid take rates or actuals, and address gaps based on industrial constraints or CO2 targets.
  • Verify the consistency of forecast orders generated by FOM with the mix submitted in RR and manage deviations.
  • Review the scheduling horizon (6/12 months) to ensure coverage of orders (real/forecast).
  • Adjust forecast orders to overcome potential constraints or generate new forecasts to meet the plan (if needed).
  • Generate 24-month forecasts, uploading monthly volumes according to LTP/supply requests for the horizon not covered in the scheduling horizon.

Orders Management:

  • Escalate coverage gaps for real orders to countries and brands by activating the Missing Orders Management procedure.
  • Communicate order priorities to order schedulers to support optimization across various targets (e.g., landing, wholesale, sales channels, etc.).
  • Monitor the order production flow and communicate priorities in case of deviations from the plan due to industrial crises (e.g., launch follow-up, FCO management, etc.).
  • Inform NSC countries of production lead times per model and constrained configurations.
