We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled OneStream Accounts Reconciliations Lead Business Consultant to join our Oracle National Business Unit. Note: this role will be remote with the possibility of some travel

This individual will be responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of OneStream Financial Close and Account Reconciliation processes. As a lead consultant, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to design and deliver solutions that streamline financial operations, improve efficiency, and ensure data accuracy in the reconciliation process.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Implementation:
    • Lead the end-to-end implementation of OneStream's accounts reconciliation module, including system configuration, mapping of chart of accounts, financial data integration, and reconciliation workflows.
    • Work with finance and accounting teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for OneStream solutions.
    • Provide guidance and expertise in best practices for account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
    • Conduct workshops and training sessions with clients to ensure the successful deployment of OneStream’s reconciliation module.
  • Business Process Consulting:
    • Analyze clients' existing financial processes, including reconciliation, reporting, and financial close, to identify areas for improvement and automation using OneStream.
    • Advise clients on process optimization opportunities and the adoption of OneStream solutions to streamline reconciliation tasks, enhance transparency, and reduce close cycle times.
    • Design and document efficient and effective workflows, ensuring that reconciliation processes are aligned with client objectives and compliance requirements.
  • System Configuration & Integration:
    • Lead the configuration of OneStream’s reconciliation module, including the setup of accounts, matching rules, and reconciliation templates.
    • Integrate OneStream with various ERP systems and financial platforms to ensure seamless data flow and accurate reconciliation processes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system configuration, data discrepancies, and integration challenges.
  • Project Leadership & Client Management:
    • Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact for all reconciliation-related queries and issues.
    • Lead project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of OneStream implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client timelines, budgets, and goals.
    • Develop project plans, track progress, and communicate effectively with internal and client teams to address potential risks or delays.
  • Training & Support:
    • Lead training sessions for clients, ensuring that users are equipped to effectively use OneStream’s account reconciliation functionality.
    • Provide post-implementation support to troubleshoot issues and ensure the ongoing success of the reconciliation process.
    • Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and documentation to help users maximize their use of OneStream.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay current with OneStream updates and industry trends to recommend improvements and upgrades to client systems.
    • Continuously evaluate reconciliation processes and recommend innovative solutions to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work closely with finance teams, IT departments, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of OneStream solutions.
    • Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to resolve issues, improve system performance, and enhance functionality.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to junior consultants, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or business consulting with a focus on financial close and account reconciliations.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting OneStream Financial Close, Account Reconciliation, or related modules.
    • Proven experience in leading large-scale financial systems implementations and projects.
    • Strong understanding of reconciliation processes, including journal entries, intercompany, balance sheet, and P&L reconciliations.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in OneStream Financial Close and Account Reconciliation solutions.
    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger systems, and integration with other financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to lead client-facing engagements and manage cross-functional project teams.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients, executives, and technical teams.
    • Familiarity with industry best practices, SOX compliance, and other financial regulations.
  • Certifications: OneStream certification (or relevant ERP/accounting system certification) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with automation tools and financial technologies like robotic process automation (RPA) or machine learning to enhance reconciliation processes.
  • Experience in process optimization, change management, and strategic financial transformation.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
