The role:

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a new Poker Editor!

Responsibilities:

Creating quality poker content that informs and entertains our readers
Writing, editing and publishing a variety of content on our WordPress CMS to a high standard
Editing and optimizing existing pages according to SEO guidelines
Build content briefs across a range of topics and markets with thorough keyword and competitor analysis.
Daily management of in-house or freelance writers, setting deadlines, giving feedback and setting tasks.
Ad hoc editing tasks as required to support the success of our projects
Collaborating with other members of the content team to ensure a steady flow of content

Qualifications:

Ideally 2+ years of professional experience in content writing and editing.
Strong research and analytical skills
Good command of English and the ability to write in a clear and concise manner for a general audience
Familiarity with Google Search Console, Ahrefs and other SEO tools
A good understanding of SEO, and how to write for the web
Experience working with WordPress CMS
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Comfortable working to tight deadlines and switching to priority tasks as required
