Job Summary:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Applications Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support, update, and maintain essential applications, including Salesforce, WordPress, Personify's Small World Community, Eventbrite, and Classy’s Salesforce integrations. You’ll also assist with GitHub deployment processes and work with APIs to ensure seamless system functionality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Support: Provide day-to-day support for applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance.
Updates and Maintenance: Assist in implementing updates and maintaining integrations to keep applications running smoothly.
WordPress / Community Management: Assist with content updates, plugin management, and basic troubleshooting for WordPress. Support users and administrators of Personify’s Small World Community platform by resolving issues and maintaining functionality.
Google Workspace Administrator: Create and manage accounts for CCL staff and volunteer leadership.
Zoom Account Administrator and Tech Support: Managing account settings, user permissions, and integrations while providing technical assistance to troubleshoot issues, ensure smooth operation of meetings and webinars, and optimize the platform for organizational needs.
GitHub Deployment: Assist with application deployments using GitHub, ensuring accurate version control and documentation.
Systems Integration: Work with various platforms, ensuring data flows seamlessly.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure systems meet organizational needs and goals.
Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation for application updates, deployments, and issue resolutions.
Familiarity with database/content management applications.
Familiarity with WordPress.
Basic understanding of GitHub, version control systems, and deployment processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with widely used tools and applications while developing valuable skills in IT, software support, and integration management.
Compensation:
$60,000 per year annual salary. Benefits for a full-time position include health insurance (eligibility after waiting period), dental and vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401K retirement plan. Two weeks accrued vacation for all first-year employees. An additional week of vacation is accrued after one year of employment with Citizens’ Climate.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, exempt position. Evening and weekend hours may be necessary when working with volunteers and staff across multiple time zones. Occasional travel may be expected.
