Job Overview:

We are seeking an AI Software Engineer to lead the end-to-end development and deployment of predictive models for a wealth management solution. This role will involve everything from database design to user interface, including full-stack development and optimization of machine learning model performance.

Schedule

Flexibility to adjust work schedule to overlap with GMT (preferred, but not mandatory).

Contract type

3-6 month contract with potential for extension

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the full lifecycle of machine learning models, from data pipelines and databases to deployment and user interface.

Develop, deploy, and optimize machine learning models and solutions, ensuring high-quality production-level code (primarily in Python).

Measure and optimize the performance of models in production, using industry best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, designers, and business stakeholders, to deliver AI-driven solutions that enhance user experience and drive business value.

Work on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and specifically AWS Bedrock, to support the scalability and availability of models.

Requirements

Bachelors/Master's degree in computer science/computer engineering

2-6 years of experience in machine learning and full-stack development; open to mid-level and senior candidates

Strong coding skills, with a proven track record of deploying machine learning models and building full-stack applications, particularly using Python.

Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks, and a solid understanding of deployment practices.

Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects, self-start, and adapt to new challenges.

Experience with AWS Bedrock and Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across different teams and organizations to deliver solutions.
