Job description

The Role


The Brand Analytics Coordinator supports the Strategic Initiatives team by supporting the end-to-end process of identifying new product opportunities and ensuring successful launches. This role is critical in driving data-driven decision-making and shaping the future of MaryRuth’s product portfolio. This role ensures alignment between various departments, drives the timely execution of strategic projects, and contributes to the overall growth and efficiency of MaryRuth’s. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and is an effective communicator with a passion for brand integration and operational excellence. The Strategic Initiatives Brand Analytics Coordinator will report to the Strategic Initiatives Director. This is a full-time (40 hr/wk), paid, hourly non-exempt, remote position. It is preferred that the individual in this role be able to work CST or EST hours. The salary range for this role is $9-11 USD/hour.


Responsibilities


  • Market Research & Consumer Insights: Conduct comprehensive research on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify potential product opportunities.
  • Business Case Development: Support the creation of business cases by gathering data, performing opportunity analysis, and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Data Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data, develop insights, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of product launches to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with leadership and relevant departments to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine processes for evaluating new opportunities and executing product launches.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Some travel (<5%) may be required on an as needed basis, with advance notice provided to the employee.


Qualifications


  • Experience in the health and wellness industry or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required.
  • 2+ years of experience in market research, business analytics, or brand strategy (with experience in the wellness or consumer goods industry) strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Tableau, Nielsen/Spins/IRI, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for wellness and alignment with MaryRuth’s mission and values.


Physical Requirements


  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • This role involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
