Data Analyst - Domo

Position Summary:

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Data Analyst to join our growing team!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and be able to transform it into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role involves managing and analyzing data within the Domo platform, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and collaborating with stakeholders to solve data-related issues. The Data Analyst will also be responsible for developing technical solutions to business problems, and contributing to a data-driven culture within the company

This is a US remote-based position.

Compensation: Salary range: $70,000 - $95,000 depending on experience!

• Maintain one source of validated data for the entire company and ensure its accuracy.
• Manage and maintain Domo datasets, dataflows, and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Troubleshoot and fix issues related to incorrect or incomplete data within Domo.
• Build and optimize ETL processes in Domo to automate data flows from multiple sources.
• Utilize Domo Workflows to automate processes and improve data management.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, perform data cleansing, and ensure data consistency.
• Develop and enhance Domo visualizations and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Conduct analysis utilizing SQL, Excel, BI Platforms and other analytics tools to develop initiatives to improve profitability on accounts, improve operational performance, and financial analysis.
• Ingest and review reporting from a variety of sources, determine what data is relevant to the business, and prepare and present a consolidated view.
• Develop ongoing key performance metrics to drive efficiency and process improvement throughout the business.
• Partner with key stakeholders to develop actionable performance metrics.
• Use data to support a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
• Use data & reporting to develop professional internal and external presentations.
• Identify data quality issues and identify opportunities for automation between systems.
• Engage with client analysts and project managers to move the program/partnership forward.
• Use data to help forecast the capital and number of capital assets needed to sustain and grow the business.
• Driving & supporting existing account growth through project management, analytics, associated tasks/projects, and implementation.
• Monitor data pipelines and provide recommendations for improvements to reduce data errors.
• Provide training and support to end users on best practices for data utilization in Domo.
• Stay up to date with Domo platform updates and new features to enhance system performance.

• 2+ Years experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Domo, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Proficiency in SQL and other querying languages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and fix data-related issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and explain technical concepts.
• 3+ years’ experience in business data analysis, data quality, and data visualization.
• 3+ years' experience creating execution plans and executing projects to completion.
• 3+ years' experience identifying and implementing operational improvements.
• Passion for data, analytics, and unlocking the story that data can tell for the business.
• Experience in report/analytics design principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience using Domo for data analysis, visualization, and process improvement including Dataflows, Views, Workflows and more.
• Experience with API integration and connecting various data sources to Domo.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with BI platforms and report building.
• Experience Python/R or other analytical language.
• Fleet experience is a plus.
