Job description

Who We Are - MANSCAPED® is a leading men’s grooming and lifestyle consumer brand on a mission to introduce and elevate a whole new self-care routine for men. What began as the category creator of below-the-waist grooming has quickly evolved into a global omnichannel powerhouse available around the world on manscaped.com, Amazon, and in major retailers including Target®, Walmart, and Best Buy. As a company, we’re more than just ball jokes (though, rest assured, there’s plenty of those). We proudly uphold seven core values – accountability, authenticity, collaboration, fun, humility, inclusivity, and innovation – which define our brand identity and drive our success. As a people-centric employer brand, we are deeply committed to fostering the growth, happiness, and holistic well-being of each individual on our team.

Who We’re Looking For - Reporting to the Senior Director, PMO, we are seeking a talented Program Manager, Retail and Packaging to support and organize the growing list of requirements for internal collaborating teams, including but not limited to the Retail Team, Packaging, Product Development, Operations, Marketing, and Creative. This role will also provide project management support for packaging development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for communication, an eagerness to understand business objectives, and the ability to align them with effective project management.

Keys to Success - As a member of the PMO team, success will be measured based on three key actions. 1) Doing your job; setting and meeting appropriate goals that ladder up to the long-term Company vision and the short-term Company targets. You are expected to align on these goals with your manager and then deliver on them. 2) Doing Your Job, the Right Way; At MANSCAPED® we strive to be ideal team players. That means striving to live up to the Humble, Hard Working & Smart framework. 3) Engaging (in both directions) with Radical Candor in a way that seeks to improve the performance of yourself and the team around you.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creative aspects of retail projects, omni-channel packaging, and the full project lifecycle, including scoping, requirements gathering, documentation approval, project planning, status reporting, risk resolution, resource allocation, and project completion
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, status updates, and retrospectives, addressing risks, dependencies, and blockers while keeping the team aligned with the bigger picture
  • Support the onboarding of new key initiative retail partners in close partnership with the internal retail team. Ensure that expectations are clearly defined, and accountability is fostered within the team, promoting independence and efficiency while minimizing delays or the need for constant oversight
  • Contribute to the development and qualification of packaging solutions that meet brand aesthetics, consumer use, quality, and cost expectations
  • Collaborate with department leads to allow space for ideation and creative solutions while ensuring long-term planning for efficiency and resource needs
  • Collaborate with Product Development PMs for both Hard Goods and Wet Goods to create a comprehensive product packaging plan for omni-channel launches. Align on priorities and prerequisites to ensure smooth execution of packaging work
  • Assist in gathering packaging prerequisites, routing packaging artwork approvals, and updating the omni-channel packaging status tracker. Continuously identify efficiencies and connections across workflows and ensure timely, effective delivery of tasks
  • Quickly learn the aspects of the MANSCAPED® business model and operational processes, and how they affect retail operations
  • Other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years program management experience with retail deliverables and 2+ years of experience in packaging and packaging development
  • Strong communication skills across one-on-one, team, and large-group settings, engaging effectively with peers, leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners like vendors and retailers. Able to deal with ambiguity, drive results and manage changing scope
  • Seek out opportunities to leverage available resources while maintaining responsibilities and meeting expectations
  • Experience in packaging design, processing systems and commercialization business processes
  • Understanding of both the vision and executional-level detail of business practices, industry trends and policies
  • In-depth knowledge of packaging materials and processes
  • Self-starter, high degree of initiative and independence, but also able to work with teams from different departments/various levels
  • Logical thinker and excellent problem solver
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Previous experience in project management tools (i.e., Asana) a plus; ability to learn and utilize new systems quickly
  • Ability to navigate multiple cross-functional projects seamlessly, effectively, and accurately
  • International experience a plus
