Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to support the Advanced Open Integrated Solutions (AOIS) team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of supporting and executing organizational and program objectives. The MPM is the primary point of contact to management and to internal customers, including Program Office, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts.  The candidate will represent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies, and objectives, and support all supply chain management (SCM) activities needed to meet program requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Identify synergies between awarded contractual scope procurements across EOIR​
  • Monitor, track, manage and reduce key Supply Chain metrics: PR to PO, Late to Dock, Non-Support Futures, etc.  Track and report progress to 100% PO placement & manage to point of liquidation.
  • Support the Acquisition community in obtaining information from the Programs.
  • Overall material management for the program; maintaining statistical data related to the program health which includes cost, schedule, quality metrics and EVMS.
  • Maintain accurate Investment Sales Forecasts, Sales and Operating Plans and Annual Operating Plans
  • Flow down Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans.
  • Collaborate with other programs to maximize efficiency of program execution including commonality.
  • Prepare and present weekly/Monthly during Program Performance Reviews
  • influence others to execute the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program.
  • Utilize analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end planning and identify constraints, risks, and opportunities.

 Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Supplier Management.
  • Experience in Material Forecasting, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Material Estimate at Complete (EAC), and/or Earned Value (EV).
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience in a manufacturing environment.  
  • Supplier management experience (PO placement, proposal reviews, Best Value Source Selections, Competition) 
  • Material Forecasting experience
  • Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position is not relocation eligible. Relocation assistance is not provided.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
