Job Title: Training & Help Desk Content Manager (Finance software)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Role Description:

As the Knowledge Base Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we have a creative and engaging knowledge base for our customers to use. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who is looking to have a direct impact on the training and support we provide to our customers. We are looking for somebody who is a self-starter and can create engaging content around all things IMP planner and ICFP.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and promote the help centre content.
  • Liaise with development to ensure timely updates to the help centre related to new / changed product.
  • Ensure help centre articles are clear and easy to consume.
  • Encourage usage of help centre externally / internally.
  • Seek feedback from customer base and internal colleagues to improve article content.
  • Monitor help centre KPI’s related to help centre usage – implement strategies to improve KPI’s.
  • Ensure the help centre provides content to ensure effectiveness of answer bot solution.

Skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Previous experience in accounting is essential, along with a strong understanding of systems and processes.
  • Clear thinking – be able to break information down into its constituent parts producing easy to consume bitesize content.
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Be user focused – understand user needs, seek out feedback.
  • Be energetic – this is an important role; we need drive to ensure continual content improvement.
  • Have a systems mindset – you will need to be able to understand our products inside out to produce accurate content.
