Job description

Position: Social Media and Marketing Specialist

Number of hours: 20 hours/week

Schedule: EST

Tasks:

  • Develop, curate, and manage content for social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives. This includes writing posts, creating visuals, and planning campaigns.

  • Engage with the brand’s audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Build and nurture relationships with followers to enhance brand loyalty.

  • Oversee social media accounts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc., ensuring consistent posting, brand presence, and optimization.

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) to gauge the effectiveness of strategies. Generate reports and adjust tactics based on data insights.

  • Plan and execute paid and organic social media campaigns, ensuring they reach the target audience effectively and are aligned with the overall marketing goals.

  • Implement strategies to increase brand visibility, followers, and engagement across social platforms. This may include collaborations, influencer partnerships, and cross-promotions.

  • Manage SEO strategies related to social media and execute paid advertising campaigns, such as Facebook Ads or Google Ads, to drive traffic and conversions.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in social media and digital marketing to ensure the brand remains competitive and innovative.

  • Other tasks as assigned



Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.

  • Expertise in social media platforms, tools (like Hootsuite, Buffer), and analytics tools.

  • Strong English communication and writing skills.

  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and online advertising.

  • Creativity and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is a plus.

  • Data-driven and results-oriented.
