Job description

Are you ready to be at the forefront of our talent acquisition strategy, driving our transformation projects on a global scale?

This is not your typical recruitment role. We are looking for someone who can think creatively, challenge conventional practices and revolutionise our approach to attracting and retaining outstanding talent. If you’re a big-picture thinker, with a passion for digital transformation and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!

Here's some of the things you can look forward to

With your strategic mindset and excellent project management skills, you will have the opportunity to play a leading role in taking our TA Centre of Excellence to the next level in Hempel.  What’s more, you’ll be teaming up with a wonderfully diverse group of TA professionals based all over the world. Based in Darwen - UK, you will:

  • Independently lead and own global TA projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives are met within scope, timeline, and budget.

  • Take your place in the hot-seat for our digital transformation agenda, leveraging AI and automation technologies to optimize our recruitment process, deliver stellar candidate experience and, ultimately, attract the best talent to Hempel

  • Collaborate with the business to define project goals, results, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with overall TA and organisational strategies.

  • Define and optimise TA processes, workflows, and tools to streamline recruitment activities and improve efficiency and effectiveness.

In addition to direct project management you'll also act as the ‘go-to’ Subject Matter Expert for Talent Acquisition, with particular focus on:

  • Proactively using data analytics from Workday and associated suppliers (Linked In, Textio, SHL, etc) to diagnose opportunities to optimise TA delivery across Hempel.

  • Staying abreast of external trends and becoming a thought partner to the TA Director in support of our 2025 delivery plan.

  • Acting as a lead interface to optimise our strategic partnership with 3rd party suppliers – e.g. Textio, SHL, agency partners, etc

  • Leading on content creation as required to support world-class TA delivery, e.g. guidance materials for TA Partners and Hiring Managers, process/policy documentation, etc

What do you need to be successful?

Subject matter expertise in Talent Acquisition, with experience leading digital transformation initiatives on a global scale

Strong project management expertise that enables you to effectively plan, implement, and monitor recruitment projects across multiple regions and functions.

A strategic mentality and the ability to think innovatively will allow you to create and implement global recruitment strategies that align with organisational goals.
