SEO Content Specialist

360training is seeking an experienced SEO Content Specialist to join our growing Search Marketing Team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing keyword research and analysis, creating detailed content briefs, reviewing drafts by our content team, optimizing content for search engines, and helping to track its performance across various metrics. You will be skilled in research, copy writing, and on-page SEO. You will work cross-functionally with the content, design, and development teams.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, creative-minded and determined to ensure webpage content is accurate, succinct, SEO-friendly and written with our target audience in mind.

You will report to the Manager of SEO within the Search Marketing Team. This position is full-time and remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform keyword research to identify opportunities for on-page improvements and to fuel content optimization efforts
  • Craft compelling, performance-focused content written to engage and convert users and rank on search engines
  • Collaborate closely with content writers and product marketing specialists, implementing SEO best practices
  • Track performance of SEO content calendar to ensure content requests are completed on time and in order of importance
  • Research organic keyword opportunities for webpages and blog posts on multiple websites, requesting content to outrank competitors
  • Report on key performance indicators {KPls) for SEO content efforts, like traffic, CTR, position in SERPs, keyword movement, and more
  • Manage multiple SEO projects on different websites
  • Proactively communicate with manager and meet to discuss SEO initiatives
  • Stay ahead of the curve on industry trends and SEO best practices
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the SEO team and broader organizational goals


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years' experience in SEO, copy editing, content strategy, or a similar role focusing on optimizing content for search engines
  • Experience using spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Share Point
  • Competency with Ahrefs & SEMrush
  • Expertise in keyword research, SEO copywriting, and optimizing webpage content
  • Strong research skills and ability to think like the different audiences we write for
  • Stellar communication and collaboration skills, enabling seamless teamwork
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be a team player and able to operate in a dynamic environment
