Currently, we are looking for JD Edwards Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be willing to travel and professionally represent AST in the market, stay organized, and be a team player. Work collaboratively with the business development, sales, and our marketing team. This is a US based, full-time and remote position, with travel to customer sites as needed.


What You'll Do:

  • The ideal candidate is an energetic business development representative who targets new customers and develops relationships with key decision-makers in enterprise-level companies.
  • The role includes prospect engagement, analyzing prospect needs, recognizing opportunities, and presenting AST’s partner solutions and services, all with the primary goal of continuously building a viable pipeline.
  • Generate new net business in the Oracle JD Edwards Install base and drive revenue generation for professional services including JDE World & EnterpriseOne products,
  • Execute the tip of the spear AST marketing message at events and in communications with prospective customers and our partners.
  • Strong hunter with the ability to uncover leads and new sales opportunities. Manage the process through prospecting, lead qualification, GTM strategy, and planning.
  • Participate in creating, presenting, and selling the complete value proposition via presentations over the phone, webinars, customer meetings, and events.
  • Liaise with marketing and sales to manage customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and maximize sales.



What You Bring:


  • Minimum of two years of sales or marketing experience.
  • Understanding of SaaS solutions, including any of the following: Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Performance Management, Customer Relationship Management or Business Intelligence.
  • Experience or an understanding of Oracle Cloud, NetSuite, JDE, and/or Salesforce applications is helpful. Passion for working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people.
  • Able to work independently, take the initiative with minimal supervision, yet participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed.
  • Ability to execute the AST tip-of-the-spear marketing message in the field and to our partners.
  • Dynamic communicator, with excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Hands-on experience creating and presenting engaging customer presentations to all levels of leadership, including C-level, organized, entrepreneurial, self-starter with applications sales experience, with a focus on building relationships, executing vision, and achieving quota.
  • Highly developed selling and customer relations with negotiation skills being desired.
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • ERP knowledge is a big plus.
