Hitachi Energy Real Estate Function supports & manages all properties globally. The areas include portfolio management, site selection, workplace, facility maintenance & management, project delivery and financials.

We are looking for a Real Estate Contract Management Specialist to be based either in Singapore OR Malaysia, who will be responsible for Procure-to-Pay process. The incumbent will be responsible to manage projects for South East Asia (SEA) & China.

Note : Successful applicant will continue to work from the country he/she is based now.

The Real Estate Contract Management Specialist manages the end-to-end SCM process; being responsible from project initiation, alignment between project stakeholders, and procurement through contract execution. As well as goods and or services receipt, project evaluation and closure, optimizing costs, timelines and quality for successful project outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Planning & Requirement gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objective, scope, timeline, procurement needs, specific requirements for goods, services or contractors, quality standards and other essential criteria etc.
  • Supplier competence qualification and local market research
  • Procure to Pay Process: Joint collaboration with indirect SCM (CAPEX) SPOC in triggering, monitoring the creation or reactivation of new suppliers (including supplier evaluation and prequalification) in the system, PR/PO/WBS issuance; goods/services receipt coordination; invoice matching, payment processing
  • Contract monitoring and performance management: Joint collaboration with the indirect SCM (CAPEX) SPOC in preparation, execution and management of contracts (contract drafting & negotiation, execution, monitoring and compliance, amendment and adjustment, final deliverables & closeout, post project evaluation)
  • Finance: Track agreed costs against actual payments. Responsible for the communication with vendors and suppliers regarding all aspects of the invoicing process.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensures regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, issue resolution, project procurement tracking, progress reporting etc.
  • Lead, drive and practice highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure a safe working environment led by Real Estate are undertaken with all necessary safety control measures to mitigate and eliminate hazards/risks.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, or related fields
  • At least 5 years plus working experience in Real Estate and/or facility related fields
  • Experience managing industrial property projects under different contractual models is an advantage.
  • Strong background in project management, contract negotiation, source to pay process
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office and SAP/Ariba
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resilient, independent, reliable, proactive and team player
  • Collaborative, dynamic and can adapt to change.
  • Language requirements: English and Mandarin (comprehend, read and write)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry developments and identifying emerging trends.
  • Flexible to travel - can travel with short notice.
