In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing support to the VP of Risk and Compliance at RealPage as the Transformation lead. You will collaborate closely with the VP of Risk and Compliance to drive and assist in transformation initiatives, ensuring that compliance and risk considerations are effectively integrated into the overall transformation strategy. Your responsibilities will include offering guidance and support to the VP of Risk and Compliance in developing processes, workflows, and systems that align with compliance and risk programs. Additionally, you will actively participate in identifying potential risk issues and providing compliance advice and support to internal personnel involved in transformation initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead and manage change projects related to post-merger integrations, payments product launches, operational restructuring, and financial crime remediation efforts.
Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, legal) to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives.
Develop and implement comprehensive compliance frameworks to integrate our various products and services, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide risk needs and relevant regulations (e.g., KYC, AML, PCI DSS).
Lead cross-functional risk assessments and reviews to implement consistent risk controls.
Stay up-to-date on evolving regulatory requirements for the financial services industry, proactively adapting RealPage’s processes and controls.
Manage and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders.
Support the implementation of training programs to educate employees about RealPage’s risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on risk mitigation strategies and compliance program deliverables.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA or similar advanced work in finance preferred).
Minimum 8 years of experience in a Risk & Compliance Management role within a Big Four consulting firm or a leading financial services institution.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex change initiatives with a focus on risk mitigation.
Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and requirements for financial services (KYC, AML, PCI DSS, card network compliance).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and develop solutions to complex risk scenarios.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Experience working with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Location in EST zone is desirable.
CAMS certification.
