Our Corporate office is looking for a Workday Functional Lead to work closely with the Workday Team Lead and business partners to configure and maintain Workday at WEG. The Workday Functional Lead will be a technical expert in Workday and in the functional area they support to propose and implement best-in-class solutions for complex business needs.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 - $111,400.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions

Manage and Implement Workday System/New Functionality

  • Provide consultation to Business Partners and COEs, building domain knowledge, providing solutions and impact analysis

  • Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate

  • Serve as subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities

  • Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday across areas of responsibility

  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve policy and process acumen

  • Design and maintain system configuration for areas of responsibility

  • Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday

  • Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process Notifications in Workday

  • Create EIBs for Business Partners

  • Create and run complex EIBs

Support BAU Activities for Business Lines

  • Service as business partner to areas identified below; serve as primary point for assistance with daily business activities conducted in Workday

  • Assist in testing of integrations, security, annual events

  • Maintain master data values in Workday for Business Partners

  • Serve as an escalation resource for business user issues

Special Projects as Needed

  • Participate in annual audit activities

  • Perform annual maintenance on Business Processes, Tasks, Data

  • Partner with Workday Business Analyst / Project Manager on requirements gathering for large scale initiatives

  • Finance partner supporting designated FINS areas in Workday, including FP&A reporting (including Adaptive), Expenses, Procurement, Projects, etc.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Workday FINS experience or training required; 3+ years preferred

  • FINS functional and system experience required

  • Adaptive experience required

  • Understanding of Finance operations and experience in Finance data management and reporting

  • High degree of confidentiality

  • Ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities as well as the ability to adapt to changing business requirements; provide timely follow-ups and resolutions

  • Agility – You’ll remain agile in your decision making, planning, and delivery; using curiosity and creativity to see situations from all perspectives.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, cross-functional colleagues and IT

  • Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the clients’ needs and situation

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. Thus, the entire salary range for those who are classified as an individual contributor $ 81,100.00 - $125,300.00.
