The Lead Chargemaster Analyst maintains an accurate and complete enterprise chargemaster (CDM). Coordinates and implements the enterprise chargemaster and audit initiatives and processes to ensure revenue management integrity. Develops and implements policies, procedures, and charge protocols, including interpretation of regulatory guidelines.Job Description
Coordinates, monitors, and approves changes made to the Corporate, Sanford owned, Non-Sanford managed, and affiliated facility chargemasters. Coordinates site chargemaster implementations in collaboration with enterprise-wide departments (i.e. Information technology, supply chain, pharmacy, ancillary and operational departments). Implements and coordinates process improvements to achieve greater efficiencies. Works directly with customers and site-specific chargemaster leads in order to provide support for on-going chargemaster maintenance. Analyzes and trouble-shoots chargemaster build related issues. Daily reviews and completes accounts and charge review work queues. Reviews and analyzes annual coding changes (i.e. CPT and HCPCS) and summarize recommend updates to enterprise chargemaster.
Coordinates and implements annual coding changes to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. Coordinates and assists with implementation of annual price changes for the enterprise. Performs daily claim audits utilizing third-party software to identify potential charge and coding related issues. Coordinates and conducts end-user training of applicable chargemaster software tools. Execute daily administration of enterprise chargemaster software tools.
Qualifications
