A Brief Overview
Leads team and independently designs and implements Global IT Infrastructure solutions utilizing diverse technologies and processes to deliver new capabilities. Leads multiple, highly complex projects on the deployment or upgrade of RGA technology utilizing internal and external resources across multiple disciplines. Functions as lead and mentor for technical team members on technology strategies and configuration.
What You Will Do
Researchs, evaluates, designs and participates in the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting a complex IT infrastructure.
Leads small and large projects including development of project plans, coordinate/assign team staff and monitor projects against budget and project plans.
Documents the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures.
Monitors, manages, and provides continuous feedback for technology strategies, standards, and procedure to support effective infrastructure.
Develops and maintains effective customer relationships.
Provides lead-level technical support to troubleshoot and remediate issues impacting system operation or business service performance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) is preferred.
ServiceNow System Administrator certification is preferred.
8+ Years in IT architecture, production support, or related systems experience
Proven experience in IT incident, change and problem management.
Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
Advanced project management skills. Demonstrates an ability to evaluate project objectives and scope for feasibility, understanding, scheduling, and managing projects to budget and plan.
Complex analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into systems’ design and technical solutions.
Ability to work well within and manage a team environment. Advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to lead and mentor support staff.
Broad business and finance related knowledge.
Advanced oral and written communication skills.
Advanced expertise managing public and private cloud environments including Windows OS, Linux OS, virtualization, and hypervisors.
Advanced expertise with load balancing concepts, platforms, and integration practices.
Advanced expertise monitoring IT systems and integrations.
Advanced expertise designing, building, and integrating hybrid cloud platforms and technologies.
Advanced experience with workload virtualization including application containerization, database and data platform management, enterprise network management, information security concepts and platforms, and/or application performance monitoring.
