Accounting and Finance at GoTo
The Accounting and Finance team is essential to our business. Your Day to Day
As an Ecommerce Operations Specialist, your responsibilities are:
· Assisting senior team members in processing daily payment inquiry and dispute management including reporting per prescribed SLAS. Process includes but not limited to researching for prior refunds and providing supporting documentation for representment of charges; notating, banning and cancelling of accounts; working with the Fraud and Payment Analytical team to add any fraudulent dispute info to the negative list. Identifies and brings to attention of management any identified trends.
· Processing billing and refund requests according to compliance guidelines and within company thresholds.
· Monitoring Sales Tax Exemption requests. Reviews documentation for accuracy and completeness. Applies exemption requests in 3rd part tax service and processes corresponding refunds. Processing Internal Business Requests and Cases within established SLAs.
· Completing Internal Business Requests and Cases within established SLAs. Provide thorough and timely support to internal teams, which may include but not limited to Customer Care, Provisioning, Order processing and Retention.
· Following multi-step processes to resolve escalations, taking ownership of the process from start to finish to ensure accurate execution of internal queries.
· Demonstrating flexibility and teamwork across Geo’s especially at month/quarter/year end.
· Working with special projects as assigned as directed by Supervisor, Manager, Senior Manager or Director.
What We’re Looking For
As an Ecommerce Operations Specialist, your background will look like:
· A minimum of 3 years’ industry experience with exposure to SaaS (Subscriptions) and or other tech related background.
· Must possess proven track record of consistently and successfully attaining goals.
· Must possess understanding of revenue recognition standards and understand order to cash process.
· Excellent relationship building and communication skills required.
· Accountability towards financial impact this role entails.
