We’re just getting started in the Ecommerce space, operating storefronts for each of our veterinary clinics. We are seeking an Ecommerce Analyst to play a crucial role in supporting data infrastructure and reporting for NVA’s rapidly growing Ecommerce business. This role plays an integral part in executing reporting, evaluating performance of the onsite experience, conducting ad hoc analyses, and supporting business presentations. The Ecommerce Analyst will assist in creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data workflows, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of metrics across reports. What You’ll Be Doing
Support and maintain ecommerce data infrastructure, ensuring reporting accuracy and consistency.
Analyze site performance in partnership with platform partners and build out NVA web analytics capabilities.
Uncover actionable insights from data analysis to drive business growth and improve ecommerce performance.
Write and maintain scripts for data extraction, transformation, and automation using Python, SQL, or other programming languages and document processes.
Run and monitor R code as needed to complete reporting tasks.
Build and maintain API integrations between ecommerce platforms and data analysis tools.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging technical issues related to data workflows.
Execute routine business reporting, track key performance metrics, and keep self-service dashboards up to date.
Support statistical analysis of A/B testing results and other experiments to optimize campaign performance and decision-making
Work across functional areas to strive for and ensure consistent data quality, monitoring Ecommerce data consistency and integrity across the business
Conduct detailed reviews and quality checks of new reporting and dashboards before they are rolled out to the larger audience
Produce slides to communicate complex data into digestible conclusions for NVA leadership
Pivot between ongoing projects and reporting needs, reacting to leadership weekly priorities and creating customized reports and dashboards accordingly
What You’ll Bring To The Party
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science/Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in financial, health, business or ecommerce sectors.
Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python. Comfortable writing and executing code for analyzing large datasets
Experience with creating digestible data visualizations, one-pagers, and PowerPoint slides to communicate to a varied audience in business presentations
Intermediate experience with data visualization software such as PowerBI or Tableau.
E-commerce experience with online analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, Adobe Analytics or something similar
Self-starter with ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and prioritize work in accordance with team business objectives
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Passion for pet health and wellness is a plus! Veterinary medical experience is desirable, but not required.
Compensation: The base salary range is $65,000-$85,000 plus benefits with opportunity for bonus.
