What We’re Looking For  

We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Data Engineer to join our growing Business Intelligence team at CloudKettle. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping our clients leverage the power of Salesforce Data Cloud to unify their data and gain valuable insights. You will work directly with clients, understanding their unique data challenges and designing and implementing solutions primarily within the Salesforce Data Cloud and CRM Analytics ecosystems. This is a hands-on role requiring a deep understanding of data engineering principles, relational data modeling, and expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud is an asset. While a data engineering/data modeling background is essential, this role emphasizes configuration and implementation within the Salesforce Data Cloud and CRM Analytics platform which are low-code to no-code environments.

What You Bring  
  • Ability to work in Canada: You’re a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident of Canada, or hold a work permit.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of relational data models.

  • Experience using SQL for wrangling data to serve the business needs of marketers, sales teams and other non-technical business stakeholders.

  • Demonstrable experience designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and data models that drive business insights and support analytical needs.

  • Understanding of sales and marketing processes and how data can be used to improve performance is highly desirable.

  • You thrive in dynamic environments and aren’t thrown off by change.

  • You’re committed to delivering an amazing client experience and building long-term relationships.

  • You’re always looking to learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud is an asset.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM Analytics and Marketing Cloud, including data structures and common use cases, is a plus.

  • Bilingual Bonus: Proficiency in French is a bonus as we expand our French-speaking client base.


What You’ll Do  
  • Lead client engagements, understanding their business needs and translating them into technical requirements.

  • Design and implement Salesforce Data Cloud solutions, integrating data from various sources using Data Cloud tools and functionalities.

  • Design and implement Salesforce CRM Analytics solutions, integrating data from various sources using CRM Analytics tools and functionalities.

  • Develop and maintain data models within Salesforce Data Cloud that support client analytics, segmentation, activation and reporting needs.

  • Use SQL when relevant to do so within a low-code environment. 

  • Perform data quality assessments and implement data cleansing strategies using Salesforce Data Cloud and or CRM Analytics tools.

  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices, particularly within the Data Cloud ecosystem.

  • Be willing and driven to dive headfirst into the Salesforce ecosystem.
