The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Conduct duty optimization analysis including, but not limited to, qualification of products under specific Trade Agreements, Tariff concessions, Tariff exclusions, etc.
  • Perform preferential and non-preferential country of origin determination
  • Issuance of Trade Agreement certificates, Certificates of Origin and manage solicitation campaigns
  • Review manufacturing processes, sourcing patterns, and supporting documentation to ensure products meet the qualification criteria provided for in regulations, rules and other instruments of international trade
  • Proactively research new FTA qualification opportunities, expand existing global savings programs and lead the implementation of new cost-savings strategies

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • 7 years of professional experience in similar roles.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or International Business AND 5 years of related job-experience

AND

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • US Licensed Customs broker or equivalent in a foreign jurisdiction
  • In-depth knowledge and demonstrated expertise applying various rules of origin (tariff shift, de minimis, etc.) and concepts such as “substantial transformation” and “sufficient processing”
  • Experience with large and transformative projects involving international trade
  • Experience working cross-functionally across different geographies, functions, and systems of record
  • Demonstrated experience in other trade focus areas such as classification, valuation, and trade risk management

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
