What Vendor Management Department Does At Worldwide

The Vendor Management team works cross-functionally across Worldwide to drive outsourced service excellence, control costs, manage and mitigate risks stemming from outsourced services and gain increased value from our vendors throughout the partnership life cycle. Our team is responsible for managing the life cycle of our vendors from sourcing, identification, onboarding, managing, development, and off-boarding of vendors.

We strive to build a mutually beneficial relationship with our vendors and convert a regular business transaction into a long-standing partnership.

What You Will Do

  • Establish and maintain business relationships with third-party service providers providing services in support of clinical trials.
  • Responsible for vendor performance management: measure and assess vendor performance using tools such as scorecards, satisfaction surveys, and vendor-provided KPIs.
  • Work with Worldwide’s core and critical vendors to identify continuous improvement initiatives supporting Worldwide’s quality ethos.
  • Responsible for implementing a service-category-based performance metrics program to enable a standardised approach to category management performance oversight.

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to interface appropriately with all levels of the organization across the global footprint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to understand the importance of promoting a “one-team” culture with vendors and internal functions. Excellent written and oral communication skills

Your Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Vendor risk management field, or equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
  • Min 2-3 yrs experience in vendor management activities Experience with Trackwise, Salesforce, Sciforma, or related database systems is an advantage
  • Experience in managing vendor performance and associated improvement plans, min 2-3 years.
  • Awareness and use of continuous improvement techniques and practical implementation of lean & agile process methodologies.
