Where do you fit in?
The role is to perform accounts payable and accounting tasks in the Romanian and UK Finance team. Reporting to the Romanian Financial controller, the role will cover all aspects accounts payable and finance support required in supporting the running of the fast-growing Romanian office. It will also involve supporting the UK accounts payable process.
Role and Responsibilities:
Processing Romanian accounts payable invoices into the NetSuite finance system.
Dealing with external vendor queries to ensure the accounts payable function runs smoothly.
Setting up payments to ensure vendors are paid on time.
Providing any support required to Romanian employees in relation to their expenses.
Processing UK accounts payable invoices and supporting the UK accounts payable process.
Supporting the Romanian Financial Controller on the finance work required for the Romanian payroll.
Supporting the Romanian Financial Controller on month-end accounting and reporting tasks.
Providing finance support as required to the employees of the fast-growing Romanian office.
Decision-Making and Influence:
Collaborative relationship with other members of the finance team.
Collaborative relationship with non-finance employees and external suppliers.
You’ll need to bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent business experience.
Previous experience of working with Accounts Payable.
Excel skills to an interim level.
Good finance analytical skills.
Good communication skills with an ability to deal with both finance and non finance people.
Ability to speak and write English, which is the business language of the Signant group internationally,
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A willingness and desire to learn new skills as the Company grows.
Desirable:
Experience of double entry bookkeeping.
Experience of working in a growing, international company.
