About the role

Procurement and Supply Chain - Responsible for the strategy and execution of category management, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management in support of both direct and indirect spend. The group coordinates with the internal stakeholders to develop an ecosystem of product and service suppliers that meet the cost, quality, business, and delivery requirements of the business units.  This function is the owner of the end-to-end source-to-settle business process.

Daily challenges
• Support the execution of procurement and supply chain strategies, focusing on specific operational objectives.
• Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including the processing of purchase orders, vendor communication, and contract compliance.
• Supervise and guide a team of procurement professionals, assisting with their development and performance.
• Participate in the evaluation and improvement of supply chain processes, enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with organizational goals.
• Assist in budgetary control within the department while meeting financial targets.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes impacting procurement and supply chain practices.
• Contribute to the development and tracking of departmental KPIs.

eXperience and skills required
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role in procurement and supply chain
• Proven experience in supply chain management
• Proficiencies in vendor management, cost control, and procurement strategies
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain a plus
