About BigHand

BigHand offers technology solutions for busy legal professionals that provide data and insights to increase value and profits. Through our expert knowledge and innovative technology, we enable our customers to achieve enhanced efficiency, better decision-making and harness their competitive edge.

We build with tomorrow in mind, transforming ideas into action and empowering our customers to succeed in a world of constant change. We make big happen for our customers.

We are a business driven by our values and have these at the centre of everything we do. Our BigHanders are dedicated to building a culture where We Win Together, We Love to Learn, We Do the Right Thing, We Own It and We Find the Fun.

About the role

The Field Marketing Lead oversees BigHand’s global field marketing plans, driving alignment with sales and delivering measurable results through proactive campaigns and activities. This role ensures that field marketing efforts directly support sales priorities and revenue goals by generating top-down, high-impact campaigns while collaborating with regional leadership for localized execution. The Field Marketing Lead balances liaising with marketing senior leadership on strategic goals and building and delivering plans to achieve these. The successful candidate will have oversight and involvement across all activity, with hands-on leadership enabling a high-performing team to meet pipeline targets and business objectives.

What you’ll do

Global Plans and Execution:

    • Develop and execute global field marketing plans, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and revenue targets.
    • Ensure plans are delivered for each stage of the marketing funnel from a one-to-all approach through to a one-to-one ABM approach for targeted accounts.
    • Collaborate with regional leadership to tailor execution to local markets while maintaining consistency with global goals.

Sales Alignment and Collaboration:

    • Serve as the primary liaison between Field Marketing and sales teams, ensuring all campaigns are tightly aligned with sales priorities.
    • Provide sales teams with timely updates, resources, and support to optimize campaign impact and ensure revenue goals are met.

Proactive Campaign Development:

    • Independently generate top-down campaigns and activities that drive MQLs and SALs, reducing reliance on team-suggested, bottom-up initiatives.
    • Identify gaps in the pipeline forecast and create targeted campaigns to close them, leveraging data-driven insights and innovative approaches.

Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
    • Set clear objectives for direct reports (ABM/Webinars Marketer, Events Marketer, and Email Marketer) and provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure high performance.
    • Liaise with other marketing departments to maximise output and engagement across campaigns.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Partner with Marketing Operations to own, track and report on field marketing KPIs, including MQLs, SALs, and pipeline contribution and drive month-on-month improvements.
  • Ensure transparent communication of field marketing performance to sales leadership and the Head of Demand Generation.

Key Deliverables:

  • A cohesive global field marketing strategy, supported by localized execution plans.
  • Proactive, data-driven campaigns that meet or exceed MQL and SAL targets.
  • Regular updates to sales and executive leadership on campaign performance and pipeline contributions.
