How will you fit in the big picture?
You will work within the Commercial Planning Team, which influences customers to make insight led decisions that will drive performance for the retailer and support Hershey Canada’s strategic objectives. The team will work across functions within Hershey Canada’s Commercial organization to understand the opportunities and risk in the marketplace and in turn develop strategies to capitalize on the opportunities and mitigate risk. The team is an indispensable partner for the sales and marketing organizations in driving our strategy through customers and ultimately our consumers.
What will you do?
- Corporate Planning Process – in-year Integrated Business Management (IBM) and reporting, supporting end to end activities for Annual Operational Planning (AOP)
- Annual Operational Planning - Initial analysis of previous year vs current year for Customers, Brands and PPG’s, collaborating with cross-functional teams on annual building blocks (path to growth)
- Integrated Business Management (S&OP) – Analyze internal systems data to flag inconsistencies, attending Portfolio and Demand review Meetings to facilitate discussions around risks & opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, & Supply Chain to understand current shipment and consumption trends, and drive the development of data driven insights and stories that leverage multiple sources.
Minimum Requirements
- University degree in Business (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Statistics) or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a Commercial role for CPG brands
- Understanding analytics through data
- Knowledge of syndicated data sources (Internal shipment data SAP S4, Neilsen, Retailer POS Systems, Numerator etc)
- Solid understanding of financial metrics and P&L fundamentals is an asset
- High proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and Power BI
