This is a remote position.

Role Name: Education Administrative Assistant

Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week - below is a suggested roster but can be flexible within business hours
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM Brisbane time
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM Brisbane time

Job Description

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Education Administrative Assistant to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in supporting educational excellence by managing crucial administrative tasks, including assessment marking, resource development, and maintaining effective communication with parents. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to student success while utilizing your strong organizational and technical skills in a flexible, remote work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support academic excellence by assisting in the marking and grading of student assessments
  • Create and develop engaging educational resources and materials using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Design and maintain comprehensive student database systems to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Compose and manage professional email communications with parents
  • Develop and organize educational materials using PowerPoint and Word
  • Create and update detailed spreadsheets and databases for student information management
  • Provide administrative support to enhance the overall learning experience


Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Strong database management and organizational skills
  • Proven attention to detail, particularly in assessment marking and data entry
  • Experience in educational administration or similar role preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Background in education sector preferred but not required
