As an Account Director, you will be instrumental in nurturing key client relationships, ensuring that our teams achieve outstanding outcomes, and fostering both client success and Huble’s expansion. This position combines non-revenue-generating tasks, such as developing relationships and crafting proposals, with revenue-generating activities, which include consulting on highly strategic projects, particularly in the areas of ideation and strategy.

You should be highly driven, flourishing in a dynamic, agency-like team setting, with the agility to adjust to changing market and organizational demands. As this role will be supporting our German-speaking clients, we require someone who is fluent in speaking and writing German.
🚀 Here are a few of the tasks you'll get to work on:
1) Strategic Leadership & Direction:
- Understand the client's industry, challenges, and goals to develop strategies for market evolution and dominance.
- Lead the Customer team strategically to align with client needs and Huble’s goals.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to enhance project delivery, client satisfaction, and team performance.
2) Client Growth & Retention:
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, serving as their main contact.
- Understand clients' business goals and challenges to find collaboration and growth opportunities.
- Host regular meetings and presentations for project updates, insights, and feedback collection.
- Proactively address client issues and escalate when necessary for timely resolutions.
- Foster relationships at both executive and operational levels to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
3) Grow revenue by expanding client service use:
- Identify new opportunities and ensure consistent value delivery within client organizations.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to facilitate upselling and cross-selling.
4) Commercial & Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to maximize revenue.
- Pursue revenue growth through upselling and expanding service offerings.
- Analyze customer profitability and identify improvement areas.
- Set and negotiate rate cards, and manage quotes for commercial success.
5) Consulting & Delivery:
- Engage in top-level consulting projects, offering expert advice on strategy and ideation.
- Lead client workshops, clearly presenting complex ideas and findings.
- Step in for key consulting roles as needed to ensure continuous service.
🔑 Your performance will be assessed using key performance indicators:
- Increase in revenue and profitability for the pod.
- Retention and satisfaction of clients, evaluated through feedback or surveys.
- Growth of services offered within current client accounts.
- Effective utilization and financial success of the pod's resources.
- Reduce client escalations to a minimum and resolve conflicts effectively.
🏗️ To excel in this role, you should have the following:
- Relevant qualification in Marketing or Business Strategy (e.g., BComm Honours, BBusSci in Marketing, Masters).
- Mid to Senior level experience in digital marketing, ideally in a client-facing role within a digital agency/consultancy.
- Fluent in German and English with strong writing and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to present effectively to clients.
- Hands-on experience with online marketing tools and practices.
- Good understanding of agile marketing processes.
- Familiar with Inbound Marketing and Customer Experience Marketing.
- Technically proficient with tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, Slack, G-Suite, and Excel.
