Superlanet is seeking a
Research Informaticist to support our healthcare client in Texas. This is a
100% remote opportunity, with
occasional travel required. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader at the intersection of research and technology, leveraging informatics to drive innovation in basic, translational, and clinical research.
Key Responsibilities:
Bridge Research & Technology: Act as the primary liaison between research teams, IT, and informatics stakeholders.
Empower Research Teams: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure researchers efficiently utilize data systems.
Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute a research technology roadmap aligned with institutional goals.
Technology Optimization: Assess current research technologies, retire outdated systems, and implement cutting-edge solutions.
Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to IRB protocols, data privacy regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.
Partnership Development: Collaborate with startups, vendors, and industry leaders to enhance research capabilities.
Data-Driven Strategy: Analyze trends, optimize research data use, and implement policies to maximize impact.
Executive Communication: Develop and present strategies to leadership and key stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Clinical Informatics, Health Informatics, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in research informatics within complex environments.
Strong expertise in human health data, including genomic, imaging, and time-series data.
Experience working with IRB protocols and electronic medical records (EMR) such as Epic, Cerner, or Athena Health.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale research initiatives.
Preferred:
PhD in a related field.
Experience working in an Academic Medical Center.
Familiarity with AI-driven predictive analytics, wearable sensor data, and clinical trial informatics.
Passion for data-driven discovery and innovation in research informatics.
