We are hiring immediately for a Strategic Account Manager in our sales organization.  Individuals will be responsible for nurturing high-level relationships and adding revenue growth with key clients which have a significant impact on Aggreko's success.

 The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving business from the top-down through partnership and alignment at the corporate level, leading the strategy and tactics for their accounts within the sales organization, and managing the overall success of their accounts from year to year regarding accounts receivables, problem solving, networking, and beyond.

What you’ll do:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key corporate contacts and leaders at the individual facilities/locations.
  • Align and drive towards clients’ business initiatives with Aggreko products, rentals, and services.
  • Serve as primary point of contact with clients and within Aggreko for new contracts and contract renewals.
  • Collaborate with local account managers, business development managers, and sales managers to understand client needs at facility level and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Act as an escalation point for resolving complex client issues.
  • Provide regular reports to the Director of Strategic Sales on the performance of corporate accounts.
  • Offer revenue budget guidance on an annual basis for the corporate account overall and at individual facilities.
  • Provide routine forecasts on revenue performance for month, quarter, and year.
  • Identify and improve revenue and offer portfolio gaps in revenue at individual facilities
  • Facilitate quality accounts receivables from client to Aggreko.
  • Develop and maintain detailed records of corporate client interactions, contracts, and sales activities.
  • Provide regular reports to the Director of Strategic Sales on the performance of corporate accounts.
  • Offer revenue budget guidance on an annual basis for the corporate account overall and at individual facilities.
  • Provide routine forecasts on revenue performance for month, quarter, and year.

  • Develop and maintain detailed records of corporate client interactions, contracts, and sales activities.
  • Expected travel for this role is estimated at 30-40%. This could increase, depending on the candidate’s location.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional strategic planning skills.
  • 5-10 years in sales operations, technology and product management
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Supporting team members in a fast-paced environment
  • You’ll have a general understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors
