Description

 

The HR Specialist provides support to the Human Resources Department to include Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and Davis Bacon Act (DBA). Responsibilities include adding apprentices into the RAPIDS system. This role will support multiple construction projects and must be comfortable working with a high volume of candidates. This position will serve as an admin for the HR/Training Departments as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Cultivate safety as a core value throughout the company, supporting the corporate safety program and personnel.

· Has general knowledge of IRA/DBA projects and their requirements.

· Ensure that all project records are accurate and adequately maintained.

· Provide support and assistance to other Cinterra divisions as needed!

· Support and encourage safety as a core value throughout the project.

· Demonstrate a professional demeanor and ensure all project personnel act professionally.

· Handle special assignments and other duties as requested by leadership.

· Coordinates the application process and entry into the RAPIDS system

· Maintain company reporting as it relates to all apprentices

· Assist in registering in state/nationwide programs

· Track/Monitor apprentices classroom hours and OTJ training hours

· Have a general understanding of NCCER programs

Requirements

 · High School diploma or GED required; advanced education (preferred)

· Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

· Must be able to pass criminal/civil background check, drug screen and motor vehicle record search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

· Must be able to work long and/or extended hours to include weekends, as needed, with the ability to travel as needed.

· Effective time management skills, understanding how to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

· Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.

· Efficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

· Strong communications skills verbally and written

· Ability to Multi-task
