About the Role

BCG is seeking a Compliance Manager to join the EMESA Regional Compliance team on a 6-month contract. This team reports to the Global Head of Compliance and plays a crucial role within BCG's Risk function.

As part of the Compliance team, you will provide advisory, oversight, and risk management on policies and procedures related to bribery and corruption, insider trading, conflicts of interest, third-party risk, and information management. You will work closely with stakeholders across BCG to promote adherence to legal and regulatory requirements while aligning with BCG's culture, purpose, and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise business teams at the proposal stage of engagements, helping identify, assess, and mitigate reputational risks.
  • Conduct horizon scanning for emerging risks, including legal, regulatory, and geopolitical developments.
  • Perform risk assessments, monitoring, and assurance to enhance BCG's risk management framework.
  • Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines across the EMESA region.
  • Assist with change management initiatives related to compliance policies.

As BCG continues to evolve, so will this role. The Compliance function adapts to the changing environment of clients, stakeholders, and regulatory landscapes, ensuring continued alignment with best practices.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – ability to influence at all levels in an international and matrix-based environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively – balancing priorities under time and workload pressures.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to provide clear, concise, and practical risk advice.
  • Decision-making expertise – making sound, risk-based decisions and escalating where necessary.
  • Awareness of emerging risks – ability to identify and incorporate relevant trends into compliance frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Professional compliance or legal qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Fluent English skills (additional languages are a plus).
  • 8+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk management (audit, fraud examination, etc.), ideally in a multi-national financial institution, professional services, or consulting firm.
  • Expertise in bribery and corruption, insider trading, conflicts of interest, third-party risk, and information management.
  • Project management experience is an advantage.
  • High integrity, flexibility, and a strong sense of ownership.
