For our Lugano Branch (CH) we are searching for professionals to be included in our organization. We are looking for talented Data Engineers with strong hands-on experience in Data Warehouse solutions to join our dynamic and international team and help us drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance data warehousing solutions, ensuring scalability in an on-premises environment
• Create and manage efficient ETL pipelines to transform, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources into the data warehouse
• Develop and optimize data mart tables to support business intelligence and analytics needs, ensuring data is accessible and usable for end-users
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and troubleshoot issues

Tech Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in computer science or engineering
• 5 + working experience with DWH solutions, preferably in the Financial Services/Banking area
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle technologies
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including schema design and optimization based on usage patterns
• Strong hands-on experience in data modeling, ensuring efficient structuring and organization of large-scale datasets
• Proficiency in SQL, with experience in query optimization and ideally familiarity with OLAP systems.
• Hands-on experience in developing ETL processes, maintaining systems for tracking data quality and consistency, and using databases in a large-scale and complex data sets
• Good understanding of BI tools (e.g. Business Objects, Microstrategy or Tableau) is a plus
• Familiarity with unix/Linux environment and bash scripting would be an advantage
• Fluent in both written and spoken Italian and English
