Solution Architect – Global Fulfillment

How You Will Contribute:

Reporting to Director, IT Architecture as a Solution Architect, Global Fulfillment, you will support the comprehensive high-level architecture, functionality, and architecture compliance of solution options for the applications portfolio supporting business processes for Global Fulfillment Operations within Supply Chain. In this role, you will develop solution architecture at an initiative level in collaboration with other architects, global and regional teams, and subject matter experts from business units. You will bring your understanding of both technical and functional design and perspective from all architecture domains and current best practices into the solution design to support the business capabilities. 

• You will develop strategies and operations for discovering, articulating, and demonstrating solutions to deliver on specific service requirements and desired business outcomes and identify and lead initiatives and programs to scale the organization and its operations for future growth. 

• You will provide governance, strategic consultation and recommendations for business process design, business intelligence design, software development architecture, application frameworks or interfaces during the design and ongoing care of solutions. 

• You will develop processes, metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to improve effectiveness and efficiency of technical evaluations, workshops, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements. 

• You will partner with various business teams and IT to align on overall strategy and priorities, and provide support for specific proof of concept, initiatives and programs.

• You will collaborate with Service & Delivery leads and Project Management teams to improve engagement models and ensure the appropriate coverage of service area. 

• You will play a key role in mentoring and developing an exceptional team of Solution Architect & functional domain Architects.

The Must Haves:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field coupled with extensive experience in implementing fulfillment planning & execution solutions in the areas of supply chain. 

• Proven understanding of trade, inbound & outbound logistics, warehouse, and order management systems.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementations in cloud or on-premises along with exposure to Oracle Transportation/Trade management applications. 

• Knowledge of third-party carrier manifesting solutions with strong knowledge on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) landscape with partners. 

Assets:

• Global fulfillment experience in a technology environment.

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as Oracle WMS (Warehouse Management System), Manhattan etc.

• Implementation experience with Cloud supply chain applications.

Pay Range:

The annual pay range for this position is $125,500 - $200,500. 

The annual pay range for this position is CAD 101,600 - CAD 162,400.
