We’re seeking a Principal UX Designer with interest in service design to join our team. In this role, you’ll be embedded within a team reimagining a new product for our internal sales teams that enhances workflows, streamlines processes, and ultimately improves the lives of both our providers and clients. You will partner closely with a dedicated UX researcher and product managers to connect separate systems into a centralized tool and use your critical thinking and design skills to deliver impactful solutions.
The Principal UX Designer is engaged throughout the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, as well as in the continuous improvement of the product. This position reports to the UX Design Manager.
This full-time position is based out of Utah but also remote friendly from anywhere within the US.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Design Leadership: Help guide the team through the entire design process—discovery, prototyping, delivery, and beyond—while mentoring other designers to grow and thrive.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure design solutions are effectively implemented and optimized.
- User-Centered Design: Leverage research insights and a deep understanding of the customer journey to identify pain points and create intuitive wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that prioritize user needs while achieving business objectives.
- Systems Thinking: Design innovative solutions to centralize and streamline disparate systems for sales team users.
- Service Design & Mapping: Conduct workshops and create process maps to uncover opportunities, visualize workflows, and align solutions with your team.
Qualifications:
- Ability to design for enterprise products, applying elegant solutions to complex scenarios backed by examples that you are ready to share.
- Proficient in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma to create intuitive solutions that solve complex problems.
- Ability to work in an Agile software development environment.
- Versed in user research and testing methodologies, with the ability to interpret results into actionable analysis.
- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills across the organization and product-wide architectures.
- Ability to communicate user experience data, design proposals, and product specifications, and negotiate options.
- Ability to effectively influence at the highest levels of the company.
- Be a master of the entire UX design process including product definition, research, analysis, design, and validation.
- Understanding of user testing methodology and analytics.
Educations & Years of Experience:
- 10+ years relevant work experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Factors or a related field.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or enterprise platforms
- Experience working with and contributing to a design system
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $128,000 -- $247,200 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
