What You Will Do:
Vista is seeking a versatile Lead UX Designer to join our "DIY Creation" product experience team. This team focuses on creating platforms that enable Vista to scale content (aka templates and assets in our world) for customers, with an emphasis on innovative tools like algorithmic design builders and content management systems. The ideal candidate will own the content management efforts, playing a critical role in ensuring the availability of templates and assets across Vista.
- Design Leadership: Take ownership of the end-to-end design process for in-house design creators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Strategic Thinking: Develop deep domain knowledge to identify gaps and opportunities, helping to shape and drive impactful product decisions.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with engineers, product teams, and in-house content strategists to gather requirements, validate solutions, and co-create product innovations.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Work alongside key stakeholders to brainstorm solutions, prioritize design work, and play an active role in strategic decision-making.
- Vista Design System: Build a deep understanding of Vista's design system and brand guidelines, pushing boundaries when necessary to improve the overall user experience.
- User-Centered Design Advocacy: Act as a champion for user-centered design practices, promoting their value across Vista.
In this role, you'll be involved in every stage of the design and development lifecycle, from discovery to detailed design, execution, and iteration.
Your Qualifications:

- 6-8+ years of experience designing workflow tools, as well as within large-scale digital ecosystems.
- 4+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content, and user research teams.
- Strong portfolio with showcasing UX and design skills through multiple case studies demonstrating user-centered, creative, highly conceptual, and innovative design solutions that had measurable positive impacts on users and the business.
- Experience bringing to bear quantitative and qualitative data to inspire design decisions and solutions.
- Ability to move between high-level design and detailed design and between future concepting and near-term implementation.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with cross-functional peers, including designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Ability to present design concepts and solutions to a variety of audiences.
- Passionate about design trends, tools, processes, and methodologies and willing to learn and share new insights with the team.
- Highly skilled with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and/or Sketch to create high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and/or in highly matrixed organizations.

Nice to Have:
- Relevant degree in field of Design or HCI.
- A graphic design background or demonstrated understanding of graphic design
- Experience working on enterprise tools or internal applications
- Ability to plan, moderate, and complete a variety of goal-oriented workshops across collaborators, leading to exciting new ideas, new-found consensus, and critical alignment.
- Experience identifying and prioritizing features, as well as participating in complex roadmap planning.
