About the Job:
We are currently seeking a UI/UX Designer for a challenging experience-based internship to contribute to an innovative and groundbreaking project in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Are you passionate about design and technology, and looking to make your mark in the industry? Join our dynamic team as we push the boundaries and create a game changer in the world of AI. You will have the unique opportunity to participate in a fully immersive internship where you will contribute to the design and user experience of AI-driven products. This is designed largely as a remote placement but can also be a hybrid internship (Chicago or Toronto). In this engagement/applied learning internship, you’ll gain unparalleled experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment, directly interfacing with senior management and contributing to transformative design projects. It will be a demanding internship and will require you to bring the best version of yourself to the table, but for those who embrace this, it will be a richly rewarding experience as well as a great complement to your academic investment.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and optimize user interfaces for AI-driven products, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate ideas into innovative design solutions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
- Maintain and develop design systems, ensuring consistency across all products.
About You:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s level university program in fields such as User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your UI/UX design skills, including examples of wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and implementing best practices.
- Proficient communication in English (both verbal and written) is required.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
