Role Overview
As a bookkeeper, you will be significant member of the bookkeeping team,
managing workflow, and ensuring high standards of client service. This role
requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and excellent
communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Workflow Management:
Oversee the bookkeeping workflow, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in
processes.
Review and approve work completed by team members before submission
to clients or senior management.
Client Management:
Support the Client Finance Manager for complex client queries related to
bookkeeping.
Ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery to clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Technical Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare accounts to trial balance.
Reconcile bank accounts and process VAT returns.
Stay updated with changes in bookkeeping practices, software, and
regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in processes and implement solutions.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of
financial principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (Xero and Dext).
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
and deadlines.
