Schedule: Full-time | More than 35 hours per week

• Mondays to Fridays

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PDT (11:00pm - 8:00am Manila Time)

Job/Company Overview: Pediatric Urgent Care

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Assistant to join our pediatric clinic. The primary responsibilities of this role include organizing super bills, research on services provided to the patients and call insurance companies. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and prior experience in the medical field.

Job Responsibilities:

● Organize superbills to prepare them to be sent to the insurance company.

● Research all services provided at the time of the patients visit. 

● Verify insurance via the portals or calling insurance company to make sure insurance is active. 

● Review chart notes to ensure all charges have been applied to note.

● Apply missing charges and modifiers according to our onsite billers instructions.

 

As this is work from home, you need your own computer and internet to support calls and video call/meetings.


Requirements

• We would need our candidate to be able to talk on the phone with insurance companies.

• Pays attention to detail and is organized.

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with billing and insurance companies

• High school diploma or equivalent required, while Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
