Job description

United Tech is looking for a Billing Agent who will actively interact with the Payment and Support teams to quickly resolve payment issues from users.

In this role, you will
  • Communication with English-speaking clients via emails
  • Answering customers' questions about payment problems, suggesting what can be done to solve the problem with payment
  • Risk management involving chargeback prevention, fraud prevention and continuous monitoring of transactions
  • Dispute resolution with the clients or banks that submitted chargebacks
  • Making refunds to customers upon their requests
  • Communication with Payment product manager on complex issues and features of online payments
  • Participates in the product development of the payment system: feature ideas, testing of new functionality

  • It’s all about you
  • Previous experience in Customer Support and\or Billing Support
  • Previous experience working with payments & chargebacks
  • Proficiency in written English at an Upper Intermediate level or higher
  • Experience with Freshdesk or Zendesk is preferred
  • Ability to understand and relate to customers’ concerns, providing support in a friendly and non-judgmental manner
  • Ensuring all customer inquiries are addressed accurately, with attention to important details
  • Capability to handle a high volume of interactions efficiently while maintaining quality
  • Flexibility to manage various types of customer inquiries and adapt to evolving policies or product updates
  • Strong communication skills to explain solutions and platform features clearly, ensuring customer understanding
