Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday HRIS Analyst with 4+ years of experience. This role will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Workday to enhance HR processes, improve user experience, and ensure data integrity. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and business stakeholders to support Workday functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement new features.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Configuration & Support:

- Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday HCM Processes with emphasis on Benefits and Payroll modules to align with business needs.
- Manage business processes, security roles, dashboards, and reports within Workday.
- Provide system administration support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system upgrades.
- Ensure data integrity, perform audits, and resolve discrepancies within Workday.
- Support steady state processes such as benefit enrollment processes, payroll processing, and compliance reporting.

Process Optimization & Enhancements:

- Analyze and improve processes by leveraging Workday functionality.
- Recommend and implement best practices in Workday Benefits, including open enrollment, plan configuration, and vendor integrations.
- Optimize payroll processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
- Partner with HR and Finance teams to enhance operations and administration.

Reporting & Analytics:

- Develop, modify, and maintain Workday reports and dashboards to support HR and Finance Teams

- Generate reports related to payroll accuracy, benefits enrollment, deductions, and compliance.
- Support data-driven decision-making by providing insights from Workday reports.

Project Management & Collaboration:

 - Act as a Workday SME and collaborate with HR, Benefits, Payroll, IT, and Finance teams.
- Lead or support Workday implementation, enhancement, and upgrade projects for Benefits and Payroll.
- Document system configurations, business processes, and end-user training materials.
- Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing support for Workday users in payroll and benefits administration.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 4+ years of Workday HRIS experience, with a strong focus on Benefits and Payroll modules.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, analytics, or related field of equivalent work experience
- Deep understanding of Workday’s payroll processing, benefits administration, security framework, and business process configuration.
- Experience in Workday report writing, calculated fields, EIBs, and integrations related to Benefits and Payroll.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Excellent communication skills to work with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Workday certifications in Benefits, Payroll, or Reporting (preferred but not required).
- Experience in Workday Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, or Absence Management (a plus but not required).

Preferred Experience:

- Workday Payroll, Benefits, and Financials integration knowledge.
- Exposure to Workday implementations, system upgrades, or enhancements in payroll and benefits.
- Experience supporting multi-state or global payroll and benefits administration.
