ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Channel Sales Director drives indirect sales growth by developing and managing strategic channel partnerships, with a focus on State, Local, and Education (SLED) markets. This role requires deep knowledge of government and education sales dynamics and the ability to build and maintain high-impact partner relationships.

In this role, you will be the key driver of our channel strategy, responsible for building and nurturing relationships with channel partners. You will work closely with partners to develop joint business plans, align on mutual goals, and execute go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth. Your ability to manage partner relationships, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with partner agreements will be essential to your success.

You will also play a pivotal role in developing and delivering training and certification programs to enhance the sales capabilities of our partners. By collaborating with the Channel Team and other internal stakeholders, you will help define our channel ecosystem and identify potential strategic partnerships that can further our business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruit, onboard, train, and manage channel partners to accelerate revenue.
Develop joint business plans and execute go-to-market strategies with partners such as CDW-G, SHI International, Carahsoft, GovConnection, DLT Solutions, Iron Bow Technologies, Texas DIR, CMAS
Forecast and manage the sales pipeline within the partner ecosystem.
Build strong relationships with key partner executives and stakeholders.
Lead quarterly partner planning and ensure alignment on goals.
Address partner and end-user needs, managing escalations and solutions.
Ensure compliance with partner agreements and resolve channel conflicts.
Develop training and certification programs for value-based selling.
Deliver marketing collateral and support PRM software implementation.
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Carahsoft Experience
Proven success in establishing and scaling channel partnerships.
Experience selling into SLED or FED markets, with a strong understanding of public sector sales.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and skilled at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
