Your Job
We are looking for a Technical Writer with talent for languages and passion for IT to start immediately or as soon as possible at our Hem or Malta offices. 
 
Your job:
  • You will be a part of a multi-national product management team and help build products in our security, backup, and GRC suite, as well as internal tools.
  • You create technical product documentation according to the DITA standard in Spanish and English with the Oxygen XML Editor.
  • You translate texts into other languages, mainly: English and Spanish, (German is considered a bonus), and coordinate externally sourced translations.
  • You coordinate the content of documentation with developers, and the product team.
  • You translate or create texts for the user interfaces of our product suite in coordination with the product team.
  • You create product change logs and release notes for upcoming releases.
  • You answer questions about products that you have documented and facilitate transfer of knowledge across departments.
Your Profile
  • You are Highly driven, goal-oriented and self-motivated team player who can deliver with minimal supervision. 
  • You have a degree in Technical Writing, International Technical Communication, or a comparable qualification.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken Spanish, English. (German or French are also considered an asset)
  • You can break down and communicate complex contexts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • You have experience with translation management systems such as memoQ or SDL Trados Studio.
  • You are familiar with content creation with DITA.
  • You are proficient in document structuring, can work under pressure on concurrent projects, and comfortable respecting deadlines.
  • Ideally, you are familiar with software development, and SaaS products.
  • You have strong analytical skills and good at researching information.
  • You are a quick-learner and are keen to expose yourself to new technologies and ideas.
